Memories from 2009

-Nate has turned into a little character. He definitely likes to "stir the pot" and joke around. It amazes me how he teases, bugs and cracks jokes....if it is possible for it to be hereditary than I think he got that from his Dad.
-In the summer of 2009 I caught Nathan peeing in my front garden right outside our front door. I scolded him and told Nate he must ALWAYS use the toilet. He was not very happy about this because the idea of going pee outside for him was fabulous. Later on that day he came to me with a solution. Nate asked if we could go to Home Depot and get a toilet for the front garden. That way he could still pee outside. A good problem solver for a little four year old but of course the answer was NO.

Jade had a great year and has now reached about 5 foot 8 inches in height ( 12 years old). Thankfully she has found a sport that she loves, basketball and the height is a plus. This is Jade's first year playing on a competitive team. It is a great experience. Lot's of hardwork, great coaches and great new friends. It is keeping the whole family busy. It has also provided Jade the opportunity to travel a bit with the team and without Mom and Dad. A big highlight for Jade I am sure.

Happy New Year!

2009 was an excellent year for our family. Darren and I enjoyed a great trip to Hawaii, a week at the cottage with the family and a fantastic trip to Florida with the kids. Certainly the best memories are the ones that we made together as a family.
I am feeling very thankful for all the blessings and am looking forward to 2010.

Happy New Year!
